Engine cowls
I put the engine cowls on today for the first time since painting.
Well, at least they will know its me!
If you are wondering what colour it is, I will never truly know until it is out in the sunshine. It is a Honda colour; Cosmic Grey. The clue is the colour you see next to the yellow on the cowl cheek.
A little silicon grease on the hinge pins works wonders!

Inspiring to see what a tidy plane you have built and what a sensible aproach you have taken to the various technical issues involved. I am also building an RV 4 but the project has been shelved a few times. I am gettting ready to get stuck into it again as soon as I muster the momentum.

Hi Steve,
I check in here every so often. I probably wouldn't do everything exactly as you do if I were building but I do believe you talk a lot of sense. I think when come around to building myself, I'll be back to re-examine your approach and particularly your ramblings in relation to weight.
I was in Oaskey Park last year and saw G-IINI. I was impressed with her but I love how the -4 is turning out. The paint scheme is particularly impressive.
Keep up the good work.
