I am building a VANS RV-4 aircraft. If your not involved in homebuilt aircraft it wont be too interesting, but if you are a part of that elite group it just might be. My intention is to include ONLY the interesting details, so the rate of change will be quite slow!

Hanging the Engine

We hung the engine today. You can see a little more information and pictures in the 'Firewall Forward' section of the blog.
At first the part numbers of the 'donuts' did not appear to correspond to those in VANS plans. If you run into this problem, turn the 'donut' over. Different numbers, corresponding to VANS plans, are stamped on the opposite end, to the one you are probably least likely to look at!
