G-IKON, a VANS RV-4

I am building a VANS RV-4 aircraft. If your not involved in homebuilt aircraft it wont be too interesting, but if you are a part of that elite group it just might be. My intention is to include ONLY the interesting details, so the rate of change will be quite slow!

Wow! I'm building a plane.

Posted by Picasa It's been hot today. I am not actually fitting the HS yet, but to give myself an enthusiasm boost I laid it across the aft deck. Wow! I really am building a plane. I think it looks great.

You needn't feel ashamed of your workspace. It's what it needs to be functional. At least you have as much room as we had during the building of my brothers RV7-A, I've had the luxury of working on the RV-4 in my hangar but working at home is still the best way.
