Painting was finished last Sunday.

After five and a half hectic days, and late nights, painting is complete. Here is a representative picture. It will be a while before G-IKON is assembled.

Painting started yesterday

Last night we finally started spraying primer. Yesterday, working with a professional, more was accomplished in terms of filling and prep than I had accomplished in the previous three weeks.
Seeing the metal with the scuff marks of preperation, odd spots of filler etc., turn to a smooth even colour is a most exciting moment.
With the colour we are using, a very dark grey the matt finish makes it look a bit like the colours of a stealth fighter.
